"The future of Indonesia is in the hands of children, but what if they were food shortages and malnutrition?" Luna said in Jakarta.
Luna said, as the WFP National Ambassador, she often traveled to various areas encounter children who are malnourished. From that meeting he would like to contribute power to save them and give life expectancy.
"They, the children, who moves my heart to be active in the WFP and continuously strives to invite more people donate," he said.
He added that WFP's role as Ambassador Nasional is not easy, he is encountering many obstacles, including many people who do not know how to help the children and where to donate funds.
"When in fact, many ways that we can really do, and if everyone would put aside a little income to be donated through the organization in collaboration with WFP, or directly to the WFP. If so, then shalt have no children who lack nutrition, "he said.
Luna explains, WFP is currently working with many organizations to raise funds. This year it takes at least one billion for the fulfillment of children's nutrition.
"According to WFP, the current food costs for one child undernutrition is Rp 250,000 per year. That figure is not large, is not it, for we are well off? For that, I invite all parties, especially the wealthy people in this country to donate funds for the children. They had to be helped for the future of this nation, "said Luna.
